Youll soon realize what a fantastic and eclectic city Berlin is, with its elegant shops, fine restaurants and bustling nightlife. Berlin is, of course, also renowned for its rich history and culture. The fascinating Checkpoint Charlie museum remembers that turbulent time when the city was divided. Reaching further back in time is the Gendarmenmarkt, a picturesque square which is home to two 18th Century cathedrals and Berlins famous theatre, Das Konzerthaus.
Your activities will include German film evenings in the school, guided walks around Berlin, evenings out with tutors, plus full day excursions to Rostock, Leipzig and other nearby cities.
Our Option One school in central Berlin is exceptionally well-equipped, with 20 spacious, comfortable classrooms, all with TV, DVD and video players, as well as a multi-media/Internet room, with 10 computers and free Internet access. The school also has a student common room, library and 'sports room.'
Our Option Two Berlin school is situated in Mitte, one of the most fashionable areas of Berlin, where youll find theatres, nightclubs, scenic parks and much more! The school is close to one of the most recognisable monuments in the city the Brandenburg Gate. There are five classrooms, all with good facilities, a common area with free Internet access and an outside terrace, perfect for relaxing after German lessons.
