Description:
Participants (ages 18 plus) attend language classes while living with host families. Organized cultural activities are available. Classes include 20 lessons a week (about 4 hours per day) and focus on conversational skills. Activities and excursions may include sporting events, movies and visits to cultural and historical sites.

Typical Activities and Excursions
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the social and cultural activities arranged by the school in order to meet other students and practice their language skills. Additional fees may apply depending on the activity. The following are examples of excursions that may be arranged:
- Babelsberg Film Park
- Charlottenburg Palace and Park
- Dresden
- Hamburg
- Prenzlauer Berg tour
- Day trip to Baltic Sea
- Visit to government quarter and Reichstag
- Berlin Wall visit
