The unique Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programme will ensure that you make maximum progress in the shortest possible time, whatever your starting level, beginner to advanced. You live full-board in the home of your fully-qualified foreign language tutor, receiving 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) of individual language tuition, specifically adapted to your own level, learning pace and interests, whether for business or pleasure!! The rest of the time you benefit from lots of conversational practice by participating in the usual everyday family activities of your personal tutor and family and by meeting people in the local community. You may, of course, have as much independent time as you wish. You acquire an authentic accent, total confidence and real fluency in the language.

Highlights:
I am very friendly and like meeting people and driving them around. As I have many interests, I can offer the student a wide range of possibilities to learn Italian. My apartment is ten minutes' walking from the centre of the town and it is very tranquil. There is a wide corridor; a large and very bright living-room with a table and chairs, computer area, television and two sofas; three bedrooms; two bathrooms and in the kitchen four people can confortably have their meals.
The town is not very big (20,000 people). There is a library surrounded by a park, two cinemas, a swimming-pool (other two open swimming-pools are nearby), a basket-ball court, aerobic gyms (spin, etc.) sauna, esthetists, a Games Workshop (Warhammer), a bus station and a railway station, restaurants and pizzerias and many shops and bars, of course. The town in crossed by a small river so there are also three bridges (one is called the Painters' Bridge for its beauty). The area surrounding the town is very beautiful. Orta and its lake are 10 km. away. It is a real pearl of romanticism. The water is clean and we can have refreshing swimming in the summer. Arona, on Lake Maggiore, is 11 km away. The three islands are famous for their colours and scents. We can reach the mountains in an hour by car or visit the three natural reserves which can be visited by both walking and riding a mountain bike. Milan is 60 km away and Turin is about 100 km away.
In April 2003, I started working in a herborist's shop 5 days a week. The shop is in a beautiful touristic town by the Lake Maggiore and the work is interesting. I am alone in the shop and as it is not the kind of shop that is constantly busy. I have plenty of time to give lessons to my foreign students and they also have the opportunity to meet lots of different people. It works very well !!
