Fajr Center's Mission Statement: As the world continues to evolve into a multi-cultural melting pot, communication is the key to crossing cultural barriers. Learning the language of a people will help one to understand the people. Many people depend on translators and translations as a means of communication. Even though translation is a tool in intercultural understanding, it does not compare with being able to communicate in person.
The Arabic language is one of the oldest living languages in the world, and many other languages have evolved from it. It is spoken by at least 300 million people in more than 20 countries, as well as being the spiritual language of Islam, one of the world's major religions. It is also a permanent language of the United Nations, and has been established as one of the top business languages in the world.
The Fajr Center of Arabic Language has taken this knowledge and developed an intensive program under the supervision of The Egyptian Ministry of Education which meets the needs of our ever-changing society. Combined with expertise and years of experience, we have created a method that allows students to make rapid progress in learning Arabic. Our goals are to train non-Arabic speakers to become proficient in speaking, writing, and reading the Arabic language. Thus, enabling them to obtain entry into Arabic universities, to teach Arabic as a second language, to obtain employment in translation services and to obtain employment in Arab countries.
