French Study and Cultural Immersion in Montreal
  Canada
  • Quebec:
  • Montreal

Term: Throughout the year
Dates: Start dates every Monday, all year round.

Description: Our school is located in the heart of Montreal, in a vibrant neighborhood, with great shopping, cafes, and bars only a few minutes away.

Located two blocks from a major subway line, it is easy for students to get around the city and experience life in this bilingual city.

Housed in a modern five storey building, our school covers the entire top floor and has 26 bright and airy classrooms. Other facilities include a social room, with free internet and computer access for students in the afternoons.

If you would like to mix with local Canadian students or enjoy the life on campus, the Concordia University is closeby and within easy walking distance.

Our teachers are university graduates with training in second-language instruction. The teachers use both proven traditional techniques and the latest teaching innovations.

The school also controls registrations to make sure there is a good mix of many language groups in the school. We maintain the linguistic balance by language group rather than by nationality.

French Study and Cultural Immersion in Montreal

Highlights: The second-largest French-speaking city in the world, Montreal carries on the European tradition of keeping culture within the reach of the people.

Most of the city's many festivals include free admission for open-air events that keep the streets filled with music, laughter and creativity. Every summer for 11 days, Montreal hosts the world's largest jazz festival, with 400 concerts and the biggest stars of the international jazz community.

However, Montreal itself is a festival for all the senses. There are great restaurants varying from old world cuisine to storied delis and rib shacks.

The nightlife is legendary and a short walk out of a bustling downtown takes visitors back in time to the cobblestone streets, churches and centuries-old buildings of Old Montreal.

Downtown lies between the mountain and Old Montreal, which was the heart of the city until the end of the nineteenth century. Today, its charming buildings are filled with boutiques, bars and restaurants, and visitor's and locals promenade along the adjacent Old Port.
