Highlights:
Known as the "Paris of South America," Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and the nation's largest city. Located along the southern coast of the Rio de la Plata, this lively port city wears its European heart on its sleeve as evidenced by its wide boulevards, ornate architecture and rich cultural offerings. The city is home to the Teatro Colon, one of the finest opera houses in the world, and is the birthplace of the tango, a dramatic dance characterized by the passionate play between partners. Beyond the city center, a mosaic of distinct neighborhoods celebrates the diverse culture of the Argentinean people, welcoming visitors from near and far. Whether sipping a mate among friends, or learning the tango as it was meant to be danced, Buenos Aires offers a truly unique Global Student Experience.
