These projects are unusual, exciting, fun and beneficial at the same time!
These projects are the ones that don't fall into the normal categories of teaching or work experience or conservation. So if you like the unusual or the quirky, you might find something here to suit you.
Argentina: Learn to Tango or Salsa, or both! Based in cosmopolitan Buenos Aires. Latin rhythm as its sultriest.

Sri Lanka: Meditation in a Buddhist Retreat. Beautiful location, peaceful and tranquil. You can do this project for as short or as long as you choose, but keep in mind that no talking is allowed in the Retreat!

Cost Includes: Full support from the moment of booking and throughout your placement to your return home. There are support staff in every destination and a 24 hour emergency international telephone line direct to the Head Office. All food (3 meals a day plus drinks and snacks) are provided. Accommodation is provided (whether a rented house, a hotel/hostel, homestay, apartment or flat). All in country travel is provided for the placement. You will also be met from the airport on your arrival by our in-country manager who will take you to your accommodation and give you a full induction into the area. This manager will also be on call 24 hours a day and you will see them frequently. Pre-departure you will receive comprehensive information about every aspect of your placement and necessary preparations from what to pack, to visa information, to what to do on your weekend travel in the country. Your safety, well being and happiness throughout your placement are our primary concerns and we will keep in touch with you throughout. International flight not included.

Travellers Worldwide's Mission Statement: Travellers Worldwide organises voluntary work placements. There are many diverse projects from teaching in poor communities (schools, orphanages, care homes) to conservation work with endangered animals (orang-utans, lion cubs, dolphins, elephants...) and conservation sites.
Travellers also arranges work experience placements in journalism, law, veterinary, medicine, tourism, architecture and more. There are also opportunities to learn languages and other skills such as capoeira in Brazil, tango in Argentina or photography in Cuba, these projects are unique - and tailored to suit you!
Placements are flexible dates (2 weeks - 1 year) and no qualifications are required, just an enthusiasm to experience a new culture! Full support is provided within the country, with friendly and conscientious staff, ensuring a safe and exciting way to experience a brand new culture! PLacements are also very sociable and you will make friends with the other international volunteers and often volunteers travel together after their placement and during their free weekends.
