The School and Your Lessons
The Spanish school sits in a quiet residential area of San José, close to all the sights and sounds of the city. Easy, regular bus transportation is nearby, as well as shops, restaurants and athletic facilities - all that you would look for.
Enjoy interactive lessons in modern, multi-media classrooms with highly trained, native-speaking instructors who will cover all aspects of language: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing. Small classes and personalized attention let you put your languages skills to use from the very first class.
Student Activities: Cultural and leisure activities are at your doorstep ? or sometimes only a bus ride away. Discover Costa Rica and its culture through city tours, nature outings to its volcano, rainforest, and hot springs; tree-top tours; beach and jungle trekking; white-water rafting; Latin dance; Costa Rican Cooking; it's a broad program of fun!
Specialized Spanish Programs: In addition to basic and advance classes, legal, medical and missionary Spanish classes are available. (An internship or volunteer program can be added to the end of your program for an additional fee.)
The Spanish School Features:
* Classes starting on any Monday, year-round
* Four to six daily 60-minute lessons, at your level
* No more than two to three students per class
* All courses include socio-cultural, historical, and current affairs of Costa Rica and Latin America, plus opportunities for targeted language and cultural study
* Internet lab, library and cafeteria

Each Language School program offers:
* Courses for everyone, from beginner to advanced levels, including basic grammar and conversation, to literature, art, and professional applications, your study choices are many!
* Modern, communicative language instruction from trained, native speakers, with lessons that will give you confidence in both the written and spoken language.
* A skill test on arrival to place you in the program right for you.
* Open start times and program lengths. Come when you can, stay as you will! Programs are a minimum of two weeks, and most have Monday start days, all year long.
